The following body of work was created between 1978 and 1987 at Bill W. Hayter's Atelier 17 in Paris. Peter BOND comments on this work: " There is no Edition of Etchings, but Edition of Plates on which I work, with the use of a scraper, to the extreme wear. Each print is unique and contains an accomplished image. Each image is inscribed, step by step, by variations on the zinc plate. It is in the disappearance that the image finds its presence."
